Why are all your prices the same from the bride, bridesmaid, mothers of the bride/groom?

I put the exact same amount of effort into every single face I curate. I use the same quality products, tools, time and enthusiasm into each person to make sure every person is feeling their absolute best! Flower girls under 10 are free.

Do you charge travel fees?

Travel fees outside of Brisbane CBD are applicable. Please complete the enquiry form for a full quote. To give you an idea, Gold Coast/Northern NSW/Sunshine Coast travel fees are approximately $300. Destination weddings & events Australia wide are charged a flat rate. Valet parking must be provided free of charge for Brisbane CBD bookings.

Some of us will not want lashes but it’s included in the price. Is it cheaper?

All my lashes are complimentary & a little gift from me to you. So, if you choose not to have any on the day that’s totally fine but unfortunately it doesn’t affect the pricing.

Do you have a minimum amount of people required for a booking?

My minimum booking fee is $200. If it’s just you, your invoice will be $200. For Bridal bookings on weekends, I require a minimum booking of 4 people. If you are unsure, please enquire & we can chat!

Are you available on public holidays?

Yes! However, public holidays do incur a 15% surcharge.

Should I get a trial?

I want you to feel, look, walk & talk like the absolute queen you are. You need to feel 100% confident that you will be taken care of on the day you have been dreaming of. I have over 8+ years experience in Bridal / photographic makeup so you are in very safe hands.

Trials are 100% encouraged. It’s the perfect opportunity for you to really sit, feel and get comfortable with what you actually want so that on the day you can just walk in with full confidence that everything was covered in your trial & the last thing you need to worry about is your makeup.

Where do you do your trials?

Trials are all done in-salon and are charged the same booking rate. This appointment will be anything but your “normal” appointment. It is a 1.5hr appointment where we can put into action the look you would love to try with an in-depth consultation on mastering your perfect face. After all, it’s essential I make you feel like an absolute QUEEN.

Is there anything I need to do before my trial or booking?

So you can really get the best out of your trial I recommend:
– Bring along inspiration photos either from my Instagram or something else you are in love with.
– White or neutral clothing or whatever colour is similar to the outfit you will be wearing to your event. (Not essential but preferred)
– A clean face / no makeup.
– Spray tans – please have a spray tan done if you will be wearing a spray tan on the day. Makeup looks dramatically different on tanned to pale skin. Please have this done 2 days prior.
– Any accessories you will be wearing would be amazing to help see it all together.

When should I have my trial?

Trials are best used on an event you’re going to, like your hens weekend or bridal shower. This helps you see how the makeup wears during the day into the night, gauge your loved ones reactions & see how you feel when you’re wearing it. Ultimately that is the most important thing. You will be the center of attention for the biggest day of your life; it’s best you FEEL absolutely beautiful. If there are any adjustments to your look they will be noted for your event date. I’ve totally got you.

When is my booking confirmed?

Your booking is confirmed when you receive your confirmation email from me. Having a trial done does not automatically lock in your wedding/event date.

I don’t know how the morning is going to run & I’m nervous that there won’t be enough time & I will end up feeling rushed.

Let me ease your mind. I have been a part of more wedding mornings then I can think of & I have never felt stressed. I will always allocate more time then needed & work in with hair & photographer schedules with ease. I will also send through a timeline of the mornings makeup schedule. This just ensures you know what’s happening for the morning & you can just sit back relax & have a mimosa.

Will you have time to do other people on the day if they come to our room to have it done last minute?

Absolutely. If time permits I’m more then happy to do so. This will be charged at the same cost p/person as your booking & paid up front before application begins.

Do you have a touch up kit?

I supply all Brides with a small touch up kit for the day.

What products do you use?

After 8 years in the industry and a lot of trial & error I have managed to fill my kit with a range of high quality products & brands from Makeup Forever, M.A.C , Inglot, Becca Cosmetics, IT cosmetics, Huda Beauty , YSL , Chanel, Dior, Morphe, Urban Decay , Bperfect and many many more.

Will my makeup last all day? Even through the tears?

Absolutely. The bride is generally the last to have her makeup done on the day. This allows for you to run around and do what needs to be done early in the day if needed & then having a beautiful fresh face before popping on your dress. I have little tips and tricks to not only give you a face that will last all night but let you know how to maintain it through all the tears. I use waterproof/ tear proof products where ever possible. If you are a bride that tends to be on the oily side, I have little tricks of the trade to minimise the appearance of oil & maintain it throughout the day.

When should I get all my hair removal, tans & facials done/ skin care routine?

HAIR REMOVAL : Can be done the week of your wedding to make sure everything is smooth & ready for the day. Having your eyebrows in shape for the day & even your trial will make a big difference to your makeup application. I can definitely carve out & create brows where ever needed. Another process that has been done by past brides with great success is derma-planing & a top lip wax to remove any peach fuzz for a smooth makeup application. Please note that is absolutely not a requirement just a suggestion.

I would suggest having your tan 2 days prior to your wedding day! I would recommend checking out the Bellabronze House of Beauty. They are very well known for bridal tans in particular and even have an amazing blog on everything you need to know before your big day!

Please ensure if you are starting a new skin care regime or a series of facials etc that these plans are discussed with your therapist or dermatologist as soon as possible. Stress will be the biggest contributor to outbreaks prior to your day. Try your absolute best to up keep your water in take & relax whenever you can. Self-care will be your skins best friend during this time.

And if you have any little breakouts I’m here to save the day! Makeup is a miracle worker!

Do you accept after pay?

Yes! Afterpay is available for events & lessons. You can select this payment option in my booking system.
